  • Food coloring (optional)          [Walmart $3.21 - gel 4 pack]
  • fine (optional)                          [Michaels $1- 4pack by studio G]
  • Storage container (optional)    [Michaels $2.97- 3 pack]
  • medium size bowl to mix in
  • A stirring utensil preferably a disposable plastic knife
  • Measuring spoons                                                                  Total: $15.08
prices may very from store to store

Obviously you don't have to get the last 3 items you can use the things you have available around your house. I making slime as gifts for my friends in the spirit of Christmas and holiday cheer. You can use Elmer's clear or white glue both work but I prefer the clear, I personally think it has a better elasticity and shine.

  1. Start by pouring half your glue into your bowl,
  2. Then add your food coloring if you want it. you'll only need 1 or 2 drops.
  3. Stir thoroughly then add 2 1/2 tbsp. of shaving cream, stir.
  4. Now add 2 table spoons of saline and mix until everything is fully incorporated.
  5. When the consistency becomes so that you are able to pick it up
  6. Now need it in your hands until it becomes the desired consistency.
  7. If the slime is too sticky add a little more saline, if the slime doesn't have enough elasticity add some more shaving cream.

             when done pack and play.

nonexistant november

Hey guys sorry November was supper crazy busy for me, and just kinda slipped through my fingers. but I'm back so yeah, the main reason I didn't have time was because I was apart of Nanowrimo for my first time and that practically took over my life last month completely.

For those of you who don't know what Nanowrimo is, its basically the acronym for: National Novel Writing Month, during this month you have a word of usually 50,000 words and the main object is write a novel in a month. I still counted for the youth division though for the first and last time, as I am getting very old and will exceed the age limit for the youth division next year.

Any who my words count was 20,000 words and I made it to my goal, however my story is only about 60% done.

In the mean time while I work on setting up stuff for the rest of December, please enjoy this photo of a camp fire I took back in October while on Lake Umbagog NH
